New Tool: Parquet Wedge PK 90

Workers are more and more confronted with problems when removing glued wooden floors: The adhesives get tougher by and by!

Normal solid parquet flooring gets out easily with the strong Delta-P Knife, especially the older glue enables high surface performance by driving in the tapered tool. For laminate or precutted trible layer parquet you can use a scraper, sometimes even for hybrid adhesive.

For pure PU-elastic adhesives VOGT developed some time ago the Special blade FrankenklineŪ, a serrated blade. Its able to cut the corrugations of rubber-like PU-elastic glue and so itīs worldwide the only possibility to remove wooden floors bounded like this. Therefor you work in three steps:

1. Saw the full layer of parquet or laminate with portable circular saw.
2. Cut the glue with the Special blade FrankenklineŪ, the Parquet Wedge reduces the frictional resistance.
3. Clear rests of adhesive agent with scraper

IMPORTANT: Keep operating angle of VOGT breaker as flat as possible (~5° between Special Blade Frankenklinge and Screeding). It is advisable to press with the tigh.

Duty of the Parquet Wedge PK 90
By lifting parquet the frictional resistance of the adhesive agent is reduced. The wooden flooring is wedged at the rear end of the blade, so the braking effekt of the swelling is low. Thanks to mounting bottom-up the screed will not be scratched by screws when operating angle is acute.

Note: Due to the high toughness of the adhesive a elastic glued Parquet has to be removed by the stronger VH 50, VH 25 is unfit therefore.
