NEW: VH 50 with 18 mm Chisel Input
Development
When VOGT introduced the VOGT TurboSpade on the market in 2001, the tools end had to be stronger due to higher leverage power on civil engineering sector: the 18 mm hexagon was designed, ideal for highest requirments.
In following period improvements were done (like adjusting the piston to the bigger area of impact) and variety for 
-tools range increased. The TurboSpade VTS 50 established more and more in the fields landscaping,
suction machine companies, civil engineers and at municipal building yards.
New Demands
- Cutting of soil, digging and compacting in narrow areas enables the short VH 50-40.18
The practical experience disclosed, that a short machine without T-handle was needed for horizontal workings like undermining, underpinning or tamping sidewise under tubes. The length and power of VOGT Breaker VH 50-40 proved successfull.
When forcing up thick bitumen layers or for breaking up screed with interlayer there is also a lot stress affected to the tools and the chisel input. So Manfred Brehm, chair man of VOGT in Germany decided to offer the proven striking mechanism of TurboSpade also for VOGT Breaker VH 50, as a special solution.

- Breaking up bitumen sealing with thermal insulation
On the fair BAUMA in 2007 the VOGT Breaker VH 50.18 was presented, with 18 mm chisel input. Five standard length are gettable (just like the other Breaker), completed by a lot of special length for special uses. The new one differs only in the ramming unit to the normal VH 50.
Success of VH 50-40.18 brought forth VH Canalisation Set für uncovering pipeline endings or preparing house connections. The sSuccess of VH 50-40.18
resulted in VH Canalisation-Set for uncovering connection pipes or establishing house service connections, but the more comprehensiveVH Civil Engineering Set is also used for underminings and so on.
In the beginning of 2008 the D-Set (Roofer, Flat roof recycler and Bridge redeveloper) was converted to 18 mm hexagon and a further, more professional equipment was created: the D-Set XL.
